I believe that every person deserves a healthy smile. It’s very rewarding to realize that, through dentistry, I can help my patients change their oral health and their lives in such positive ways.
Having grown up in the Northwest, this area is near and dear to me. I have always wanted to give back to the community by providing dental service that is as compassionate as it is clinically advanced. Being a part of the Pristine team—where we are all dedicated to the highest quality of patient care and service—has been my dream come true.
The field of dentistry is ever-changing, so to keep up to date with the latest advancements, I am active in several professional organizations, including the International Dental Implant Association, International Academy of Dental Implantology, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Washington State Dental Association.
I also continue my education through seminars, hands-on training, and mini residencies in implants, endodontics, and orthodontics. I believe that through continuing education, I am able to provide state-of-the-art dental care with the latest techniques and technology to serve my patients better.
I was born in South Korea, but spent most of my adolescent years in Vancouver, British Columbia. My wife and I met while I was in dental school at NYU, and we moved to Washington in 2014 with our two Pomeranians.
My free time is spent enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I love to play tennis in the summer and often go snowboarding in the winter. I also enjoy traveling, both for vacation and in a professional capacity. Recently, I participated in a ten-day trip to Uganda as a volunteer dentist to provide dental services to people in remote villages. The experience was more fulfilling than I could ever have imagined.
